About Our Puppies
About Our Puppies
Our dogs and puppies live in the family and are a very important part of our family, and we expect nothing less from upcoming owners.
We breed carefully evaluating what we want to bring in this life. Parents of our puppies are healthy, happy and active dogs.
All our dogs and puppies are registered in Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) pedigree book and have FCI pedigree. FCI representative in Latvia is Latvian Cynological Federation (LKF) and we are members of FCI and LKF, therefore all of our puppies will have LKF/FCI pedigree. If the puppy will live elsewhere, it will have an export pedigree with an additional special export certificate. In addition to the federation, we are members of the Latvian Retrievers Club (LRK) and Ventspils Regional Breeders Club, which is a sub club of LKF.
Puppies are reviewed by club experts and every puppy has a puppy’s certificate, where all important information is shown (puppy’s name, date of birth, parents' names and health test results, breeder & new owner names, address, and phone numbers etc.).
All puppies together with their mother are prophylactically regularly dewormed from 3 weeks of age. Puppies are vaccinated and microchipped, and they all will have European Union vaccination passports with all necessary information included.
Puppies are registered in the Latvian Agricultural Data Center (this is topical for owners who live in Latvia).
Before the puppy is handed to new owners - puppy’s new family, the contract between the breeder and new owner is signed and includes all relevant data about the puppy, parents, breeder, owner and main points of rights and responsibilities.
Every puppy has a puppy care package that is given to new owners when the puppy leaves for a new home.
For each puppy owner, we are helping and guiding them (starting before getting a puppy and after) with everything related to the puppy coming into the new family and growing - adjusting, getting all necessary things, feeding, healthcare and prophylaxis, training, grooming, sports, shows, etc.
In case anything changes and the owner is no longer able to keep after the puppy, regardless of the puppy's age (a few months old or 10+ years old) we always support our puppies and take them back into our home or find a suitable new family. We don't want a situation where any of our puppies are unwelcome or get neglected.

Our Puppy Calendar Plan
Our Puppy Calendar Plan with preventative and prophylactic measures looks like this.
Week 0

The first two weeks (from the 3rd to the 16th day), when the puppies' eyes and ears have completely opened, will be carried out:
-
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a special sensory stimulation of puppies that improves a puppy's ability to cope with stress later in life by affecting the endocrine system and creating stronger resilience to stressors.
-
Early Scent Exposure (ESI) involves introducing puppies to a variety of scents early on, which helps puppies develop their sense of smell and build self-confidence.
-

It includes 10 tests that assess different aspects of a puppy’s temperament, including social attachment, following ability, restraint, and sensitivity to touch, sound, and sight. The test is designed to help breeders find the best family for each puppy that best suits their individual temperament.
